You Get To Make Your Own Decisions

When you are travelling alone, you don’t have to worry about ruining someone else’s trip or the constant give or take that comes with travel compromise. Though, you can act or chill on your every whim, which is an incredibly freeing feeling. In other words, travelling alone means you can be unashamedly selfish and get the best possible experience for you.

Sometimes travelling alone can be scary, as it forces you to step outside of your comfort zone and challenge yourself to do and try new things without the safety net of someone you know doing and trying those new things right at your side. But, travelling is supposed to be about stretching yourself and really discovering new things about the world and yourself because you have to deal with all problems that come up on your own which can be surprisingly empowering. Travelling alone allows you to become confident and independent in ways you never knew you could be, but for some it is just sitting in a diner having breakfast alone is extremely uncomfortable.
