There are plenty of places in Delhi to score cheap, but stylish clothes. All you need to do is look a little closely, and you shall find what you seek – unlimited bargains!

Janpath Market
A one-stop-shop for every avid shopper in Delhi, Janpath Market is a curious mix of a Gujarati market, a Tibetan market, a flea market, and many more, which fuse to create a shopping experience like no other. Choose from semi-precious stones, or colourful clothes, or strike a bargain for bags, shoes and much more. Sarojini Nagar
One of Delhi’s favourite haunts, and also an excellent shopping destination, Sarojini Nagar, or SN, as it is known, is located in South West Delhi. Known for having hip western and Indian clothing, accessories, footwear and more, it is the perfect destination for a group of people on a budget – students. You can get tops, t-shirts, kurtas, bags and more, but only if you make sure you bring your bargaining A-game! Time to visit: 11 am to 8 pm. Closed on Monday.

Greater Kailash
If you’re a brand freak, but hate paying exorbitant prices, then Greater Kailash’s M-Block Market is where you need to be. Countless items of clothing are exported to the market, and you can get your hands on some stylish brands such as Vero Moda, Mango, Zara and more – at prices you wouldn’t believe. Aside from international apparel, GK also offers sublime ethnic wear, sarees, silver trinkets and handbags. Time to visit: 10 am to 11 pm. Closed on Tuesday.

Lajpat Nagar
If you find yourself in need of some classy ethnic wear, then Lajpat Nagar is your saviour. One of South Delhi’s most crowded shopping destinations; Lajpat Nagar offers the shopping addict an intoxicating experience. You’ll find stunning Indian wear, jewellery and bargains galore. You’ll also find everything ranging from intricate chikankari dresses, to silk outfits, at shops such as KC Creation, Ghoonghat, Vikas Matching Corner, Salwar Lane Street Shopping and Ramji Sons, among others. Another popular attraction is the mehndiwalas, who are all over the market, who’ll adorn your palms with beautiful henna art. Time to visit: 10 am to 9 pm. Closed on Monday.
